hey kristi! actually, this pic was taken outside of a disciples of christ church in the lou. i think that approximately 10% of my audience, all of whom hail from Stone-Campbell Church traditions, will understand the subtext of this pic and thus find it funny. it's not over your head so much as it is an inside joke.
as per your other comment, thanks for the congrats! i'm skipping graduation but looking forward to receiving that diploma in the mail.
