Wasn't there something about "making love on the back of a horse with William Wallace," when you read that Eldredge quote in the office the other day?
umm, yeah, but that was in chapter 3 not on page 3. a randy scene it was dr. j, a randy scene it was.
pure crap
Eldredge is so sad that he must live vicariously through some violent historically inaccurate character from an overblown movie.
As Toad says, "with the time I spent on the life I never had, I could have turned myself into a better man."
edgy for the sake of edgy is not edgy.
What the heck is that book about anyway?
"what wild at heart did for men, captivating can do for women! in captivating john and stasi eldredge reveal the true passions of a woman's heart (to be rescued, to unveil beauty and to share an adventure) and encourage women to find the restoration of their hearts in Jesus. save 50% off the retail price of $22.99. our price: $11.49!"
"what wild at heart did for men, captivating can do for women!"
yes...but what can captivating do for me?!?
it can help your wife learn that she needs to be rescued. god, my dear friend, has providentially ordained that women be the passive object of men's wild affections. let john and his rescued beauty teach your wife this!
damn straight!
as my beard grows longer, i find myself more in touch with the inner spirit of neanderthal, wild stallion of the forgotten west! will you join me on this eve's hunt of wild boar and mastadon?
with the STRENGTH . . . of a grizzly.
the REFLEXES . . . of a puma,
and the WISDOM . . . of a man!
YAWP! with boar skin covering and fist full of singles we will rescue animal and women-folk from meaningless lives.
let us hunt together, friend. let us hunt together.
man...i'm getting really hungry for a turkey leg. anybody got any turkey legs? i just need something to sink my teeth into.
{sniff}{sniff}{sniff}....ahh...man flesh!
Help! Help! I'm a weak woman needing a strong man to rescue me!!!
i got idea. i get deer skin canoe and we go fishing. we not use squaw line though, we make us spear and stab trout in shallow stream.
if that not work, maybe we capture and eat godzirra.
becky we know you need rescue. we read the pleas on your blog.
Can we hunt Elderidges?
john eldredge stringy.
we reap more man flesh if we hunt southern baptists and pentecostals.
"Can we hunt Elderidges?"
only if we can capture the indian princess!
she does look like she has some meat on bones. stasi make more captivating meal than john.
i'm going to get dooced someday. i swear.
God to Becky: You are my Melissa Gilbert.
