Oh good God...don't these conservative groups realize that by doing things like this that they look crazy to people who aren't Christian and already may have had preconcieved notions of said craziness (notions that in themselves may be false) about them and that this only further cements those stereotypes?
What's next? Oscar the Grouch makes fun of the homeless because he lives in a trashcan? Grover has delusions of grandeur when he dresses up as Supergrover? Bert and Ernie sharing an apartment because they are life partners rather than as a way to save money (after all, they didn't seem to have jobs)? Peppermint Patty and Marcy-just what was their relationship anyway?
