too funny
on a more cereal note, in today's edition of the nyt online, sarah vowell pens a beautiful op-ed about the legacy of MLK, her own evangelical history and her hope that our next president follows in at least a few of MLK's steps. if you have a moment, please take the time to read radical love gets a holiday. i think it is one of the best short pieces i've read in years.

ok i thought this was funny before i even knew what it meant--rick had to catch me up to speed. thanks for sharing. and no more coming onto my comments section to contradict what your spouse writes... ;)
the editor in me, always learning and checking facts, actually went to the online dictionary to check the meaning of your use of "cereal" here. i didn't get it, so i went over to ask rick if he had ever heard the word used as an adjective; i didn't figure out what you were trying to mean until i actually said the phrase "on a more cereal note" out loud...
thanks for sharing that article. i love sarah vowell, but she is so smart that some of her beautifully written sentences go right over my head.
