Please pray for Pope John Paul II as he participates in "the fellowship of sharing in Christ's sufferings, becoming like him in his death, and so, somehow, attain the resurrection from the dead (Phil. 3:10)." John Paul has often said that teaching Christians how to suffer is an important part of his mission. Ask God, through the ministry of his Holy Spirit, to enable John Paul to bring this teaching to a good and holy conclusion.
